4.0 Miles!

YEAH.... I ran 4 miles straight today!



Man, it was tough but I pulled through. At 2 miles, I thought about only doing 3.... but I had to talk myself in to just keep going. I did start out slower because I knew that I had to just slow it down a bit to make it! And I did!

Yesterday:


I forgot to blog about yesterdays workout. It was interesting. I went there thinking... I am going to work hard, do about 1.5 hrs. Well, i started out running and only got to .8 of a mile and my shins started burning and I couldn't not run much longer. So, I decided to ride the bike because I didn't want to completely hurt myself. I rode the bike for 5.5 miles, and then I got back on the treadmill and tried to run again. And my shins were okay so I ran 2.5 miles. Then I stretched and went home. It was a total of about 1 hr and 15 mins. From warm up to cooling down and stretching. It didn't go like I hoped but I still did quite a bit!

I also just wanted to note: I warm up for 5 mins, about 5-10 warmdown and I always stretch quite a bit afterwards. Otherwise, I would be so sore the next day!
