Challenge

I ran 4 miles last night. It is getting easier for me to keep running but man, I am getting bored! I have asked and asked around for anybody that is training for the 1/2 marathon or just wants to run with me but most of the ladies run in the morning and I can't. So, I think this is going to be my biggest challenge is to keep the motivation to just keep going. I really do like to run and it is so invigorating to reach a new goal. But there is only so much music that I can listen to. Maybe once I can run outside it will be better. I am still going to just keep going! If anybody has any tips, let me know? or what do you like to run to on your IPOD?

Getting bored seems to be the hard part. I listen to podcasts. Okay, the 2 times that I've run now. ;o) But it seems to help the time go because I just get engaged in what they're talking about. I even laugh......

I listen to satellite sisters....they crack me up, there's some news stuff, latest hollywood gossip, foreign affairs, random information, it's just a funny one. Give it a try.

Okay, so I told you about the first run, 3.3 miles in 40 minutes. Whew, I was tired. Wednesday, I could only run for 30 minutes and went about 2.5 miles. I couldn't go one more inch. Hopefully I can get back up to 40 minutes and go up from there. Did you have a hard time with that at the beginning? I'm going again tonight, so we'll see. How many days a week do you run? I have decided to run MWF and do step aerobics on Tuesday nights. I want to shed a few pounds so we'll see how it goes.
